Clean Energy Names Clay Corbus as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development

SEAL BEACH, Calif., Sep 10, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Clean Energy (Nasdaq:CLNE) has named Clay Corbus as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development. Corbus was Co-CEO of WR Hambrecht + Co, which managed Clean Energy's recent initial public offering (IPO).

"Clay's knowledge of our company and industry, together with his investment banking experience, will add strength to our management resources as he helps develop strategic growth opportunities, acquisitions and financing strategies for Clean Energy," said Andrew J. Littlefair, president and CEO.

Corbus was co-CEO of WR Hambrecht from 2003, and head of investment banking since 2000. Previously, he worked with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1989.

He graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB in Government and has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.

Corbus serves as a director of Alaska Energy and Resources Co., Overstock.com and Goodwill of San Francisco.
