Agreement for Clean Energy to Acquire FuelMaker is Terminated

SEAL BEACH, Calif., Oct 15, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- On September 5, 2008, Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq:CLNE) entered into a definitive purchase agreement with American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and the FuelMaker Trust to acquire FuelMaker Corporation of Toronto, Canada for US $17 million in cash. Honda and Clean Energy have mutually agreed to terminate the purchase agreement in accordance with its terms.
